Description

This performance includes a series of interactive stories about good character told by Muslim grandmothers to their grandchildren. The performance is accompanied by percussive instruments from each of the countries presented, including Pakistan, America, China, Mali and Guyana. Highlights include the sharing of values that are similar across Muslim and non-Muslim countries as well as a celebration of differences within cultures.

Technical Requirements

2 mics on adjustable height stands, small table and 1 folding chair. Smart board with Wi-Fi. In lieu of smart board a projector, screen, laptop with Wi-Fi access. Artist will be sharing a slide presentation. Queen will send the school a link that you can down load onto a computer.
