Join Us for YA’s 45th Anniversary Kick Off Event – ChipandGus A Ping Pong Comedy!
We hope you’ll join us for this unique event to kick off Young Audiences’ 45th anniversary.
YA trustee Liz Fillo discovered a theatrical gem and is bringing the show to Princeton to benefit Young Audiences. ChipandGus is a critically acclaimed play about two oddball acquaintances who meet once a month to play ping pong in the back room of a rundown Schenectady, NY sports bar. This 90 minute “comedy with balls” takes place around a ping pong table, and balances furiously fast play with hilariously funny dialogue. In one cathartic night, Chip and Gus let their guards down and discover a surprising connection that goes much deeper than their shared passion for the game.
Young Audiences’ mission is to inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts. A portion of your ticket purchase is tax-deductible and all proceeds will be used toward arts programs for children. Click the image below or click here for tickets.
ChipandGus makes for a funny, gripping, unforgettable evening of theatre. “It is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen,” says renowned theatre critic Peter Filichia of BroadwayRadio.com and critic emeritus, The Star-Ledger. ChipandGus recently performed at the 20th International NYC Fringe Festival, receiving the Overall Excellence Award for Ensemble and was the first play selected for the prestigious Best of Two Fests Encore Series combining the very best of the New York and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.
