The Arts Professional Learning Institute’s mission is to provide professional learning opportunities to New Jersey’s teaching artists, classroom educators, and school administrators. APLI aims to engage the arts educator in inclusive, progressive, arts-based professional learning experiences so that the whole student can be reached, inclusive of race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, and ability.
  • LEARN. APLI’s unique design pairs teaching artists and school educators around the state in inclusive, innovative, and important workshops, led by the state’s arts educational leaders.
  • CREATE. APLI Fellows will work together to share implementation strategies via follow-up webinars and through 3-day residencies.
  • RELATE. APLI Fellows will be provided a unique opportunity to network with former Fellows, and create meaningful connections to schools, educators, and arts organizations throughout the state.
