Description

This unique program will offer fun and interactive musical experiences for students of all age levels. This workshop explores social-emotional competencies through sequential music and movement activities designed to help students gain a deeper understanding and connection to music as a language of self-expression and storytelling. Students will have the opportunity to discover, explore and express their own musical creativity while learning about instruments and rhythms from around the world. Students will create their own rhythms, melodies and sound stories during this workshop. This workshop offers opportunities for meaningful connections to classroom SEL curriculum which include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.
