Target Arts Education Scholarships – Now Accepting Applications!

 $10,000* Arts Education Grants for New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania Schools!

Target and Young Audiences New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania (YA)are pleased to offer Target Arts Education Scholarships of up to $10,000* to fund arts education programming in schools in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

The grants are designed to bring extraordinary and inspiring arts experiences (performances, hands-on workshops, and professional development) delivered by YA’s team of professional teaching artists. Each customized program is developed to maximize students’ experiences with quality arts programs, provide opportunities to understand the cultural importance of the arts and creativity, and connect to classroom curriculum and their lives. Winning schools will also create a community celebration as a culminating event with support from YA.

Your school will work closely with an expert Young Audiences staff member to plan your school’s arts programs based on your specific needs. *Up to $10,000 per school “This comprehensive program of assemblies and an artist-in-residence allowed our students grow both in the classroom and their personal lives as students of character.  Our themes this year involved acceptance, respect, and no bullying.  YA’s assembly programs reinforced these concepts.  I think that the sense of character gained through the assemblies and the sense of community learned through the artist-in-residence program helped to create such a positive environment here at our school.”  James Flynn, Principal- Burlington City High School
