DANCE TO LEARN FOR DANCE COMPANIES

The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Young Audiences and Dance New Jersey invite professional dance companies to become a part of the Dance To Learn community!

As a part of the Dance To Learn community your company will:

• learn an effective way to integrate the Core Curriculum Standards for Dance education.
• be provided with professional development and mentorship to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to identify and develop sustainable partnerships and advance high quality programming.
• be guided to create unique partnerships with school communities that foster lasting impact among dance companies, teachers, students, and families.
• be shown how to integrate a professional performance by your company as part of the curriculum.

Applications from professional dance companies/educators, including cultural, traditional, and contemporary dance styles from around the world, are now being accepted.

Dance New Jersey and Young Audiences, generously supported by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, are pleased to offer grants to New Jersey dance companies, teaching artists, or certified teachers for training and implementation of the standards-based Dance to Learn (DTL) curriculum. Apply for funding to support Dance to Learn Training and/or a Dance to Learn Residency in a NJ School.
